Each major milestone is named after a cat I have or used to have.
Rosie is a beautiful orange Maine Coon cat. The agency where she was adopted from was located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We drove ten hours there and back to get the cat; she has been a joy ever since.

Atale is a sweet ginger cat who is all meow and no bite. He's insanely playful, gets along with everyone (even the dog), and is very affectionate. He was adopted from the Oklahoma Humane Society.

Cassie is a beautiful black cat and she loves her humans. She was adopted when she was 8 months old. She loves to cuzzle under the covers and is also pretty independent. She's one of the few cats I've known that comes by name.

Gandalf was a 16-year-old cat that we adopted to live out the rest of his life in comfort. He was only with us for three months, but he went out like a champ. We were thankful to have him share the end of his life with us.
