# Setting Block Defaults

**Setting defaults:** Setting defaults allows you to get up and running faster when inserting the block.  These **are not** overrides.

Setting the block defaults will allow you to get up and running faster when inserting the block.

You can set a variety of options including:

1. The default Twitter username
2. Button defaults
3. Alignment settings
